I found an excellent source of up-to-date information on the Coronavirus that is easy to understand. The YouTube channel is by Dr John Campbell. Dr Campbell is a clinical nurse, medical teacher, and author from Northern England who is posting daily updates and information via YouTube. I have found these videos so informative and interesting!

What might we need if we are quarantined at home for 30 days?
Today, let's talk about stocking up everything to meet any medicinal needs we might have.

Analgesics - advil, tylenol, motrin, aspirin - these are over the counter pain medications that will help fever, aches, pain, and inflammation
Cold/Flu medications - dayquil, nightquil, etc (including topicals like Vicks vaporub)
Tummy medications - pepto bismol, antacids, etc
Bandages - bandaids, adhesive patches, gauze, surgical/medical tape
Lotions & Creams
Essential Oils/Herbal Remedies
Clean linens, towels, and washcloths
Additional bed pillows
Tissues - Kleenex
Medicinal Beverage Helpers - Pedialyte, soda pop (to settle tummies), fruit juices, herbal tea, vitamin waters, bottled water
Medicinal Food Helpers - soda crackers, bread, soups, broths, honey, jello, popsicles or ice pops, soft diet foods (soft boiled/scrambled eggs, mashed potoatoes, cream of wheat etc)
Tomorrow, my post will be on the Pandemic (Kitchen) Pantry.
This list is not complete by any means. If you'd like to add to my pandemic pantry medicine cabinet, please let me know what else you would include!
**Thank you, Arlene, for reminding me how important it is to check expiration dates on medication!
